Call Spanish Fork Flying Service at 801-798-9888. They do aircraft
recovery for insurance companies, so will know the proceedure. My Cessna
service manuals have the proceedure for Cessnas, but I dont know nutting
about PA28s.

You need to disconnect the aileron cables and the mechanism for the flaps.
Then there's 6 upper bolts and 6 lower bolts (on each side) that holds the
main spar in the fuselage spar box. There's also a bolt where the rear
spar attaches to the it's fuselage attach point. I think that's it (it's
been a while). The fuselage should be properly supported, and then you
can slip the main spar out of it's spar box.

There is also a front spar attatch just in front of the front seats inside
the cabin, the fuel, brake, pitot, static, and electric connections.
